Hi Libby and Pule,

On behalf of my year, I'd like to say a big "vinaka vakalevu" to you and the committee for organising the weekend's Jubilee Celebration. Those of us that attended sure made the most of it and had the opportunity to get in touch with classmates and teachers that we have not met for some time.

We appreciate your tireless effort and committment to the special event and we congratulate you all for its success.

Looking forward to the next get together...

Kind regards and Cheers to the Jubilee,

Akisi and Class of 98

Dear Libby and the organising committee,

Indeed the months/years? of preparation have paid off; the monthly masses have reaped their rewards!

Words cannot adequately express one's depth of gratitude for what has been an electrifying experience; an experience of a lifetime; an

unforgetable home-coming! As the dust settles, I am still on a high, reliving each moment of the weekend.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to you and the team for a job that takes some beating!! My family and I are indeed proud and grateful to have been a part of it all - thanks for the opportunity and thanks a million for the memories.

Bring on the next celebration!

Thank you again,

Mere, Michael and the boys.

Dear Elizabeth,

Thank you for a truly wonderful weekend! A moment in time that took us back to our school days at St Joseph's,reconnecting us with those who meant much as friends and those who passed through and touched our lives, all helping shape the people we are today. It was a time to reflect, to appreciate,to share and once again feel the ties that bind us all together.

A special thank you to Sr. Geneviere, your sister Margaret [a natural MC] and the rest of the comittee. All in all the organization was outstanding, the food was delicious, including the Jubilee cake and the masses were wonderful and emotional with the really lovely choir.

Thank you for the chance to touch each other's lives once again and pray together as one before flying away to be with our separate families and friends.

With much love and may God bless you all,

Karen (Slatter) McDonald

Hullo Libby and all the committee members,

A HUGE thank you and vinaka to all of you for the awesome job that you all did towards the Jubilee celebrations. It truly was a moving experience for me because I haven't been back to St Joseph's for 30 years and to see all the beautiful ladies from my class ('73 to '76) brought back so many wonderful memories. I was very impressed with all the women that ran the affair from Libby to Mere (Fong) to the students doing the meke. A big thanks also goes to the all the St Joseph's nuns and especially to Sr Genevieve. I was truly glad I attended the celebrations and I'm very blessed to have gotten a great Catholic education. Thanks again for bringing all the ladies together from around the world to a joyous and memorable weekend.

Dear Elizabeth & all who contributed towards the Jubilee Celebrations,

A big warm thank you to each and everyone of you for the mammoth task of organising this celebration which was a great success. You all did an amazing and impressive job. We all enjoyed ourselves immensely and it was great to see everyone after so many years and hear of so many success stories and am so proud be part of St Joseph's. A memorable occasion to be cherished by all.

Even my husband, who was reluctant to join me on this trip, thinking he would leave me to enjoy myself with all the girls, had a wonderful time with all the ladies!

With warmest regards,

Sylvia & Johan

Sr Genevieve & the Alumni Exec/working Committee,

Thank you for a job well done and I'm sure I speak for all the ladies from 79-82 that attended the Golden Jubilee Celebrations - it felt like a big family re-union.

It gave us an opportunity to re-kindle alot of fond memories as well as got us to connect with 50 plus of us, with , I hope, more to come on board by year end.

The ball was absolutely AWESOME - I met Lionel Yee at the People's Republic of China National Day celebrations last night , & mentioned to him that there were about 10 - 20 girls to 1 guy on that night on the dance floor & he & Peter Chan were so disppointed that they did not attend.

Hi Libby,

Just writing to say what a wonderful four days we all had at the reunion. For someone who wasn't really interested at the onset I have to say it was the best thing I have ever attended. It truely was a celebration of everything we have in Fiji and the time we spent at school. Words can't begin to express the emotions I experienced over those few days. Meeting up with and renewing friendships was something special. I certainly came home with a sense of pride. Thank you so much to yourself and your committee for the fantastic work you put into making the time so very special for all who took time to come home to Fiji. God Bless you all.

Bula Elizabeth, first of all a very big vinaka vakalevu for all the time, effort and women power u and your committee members made towards the Jubilee Celebrations and what a success it was. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves even though we were the first ones to arrive at the Ball!!!

We would also like to extend our congratulations to u personally in being such an execellent MC for the night. We did not make it to the day celebrations as we managed to arrive in Suva on Friday night and headed straight to the school. It was a pleasure to meet all the school friends as I left school in 1972.

As a Sydney sider, I do once again congratulate u in providing such an entertaining weekend for all overseers. God bless u all especially St. Joseph!!
