As i did not attend St. Annes School at the time of Sr. Agnes, i do not have stories to share about her. But i remember clearly during my time at St. Josephs Secondary, my schoolmates sharing their stories that they had with her during their primary years. Just over a month ago some of my ex-St. Josephs school friends from around Australia and New Zealand spent a weekend together in the Hokianga, in the Far North of NZ (where we visited Totara Point, site of the first official mass in NZ). Some of the old stories from St. Annes were retold and it mostly centered around Sr. Agnes. My time with her at St. Josephs Secondary was brief. I would like to thank Jenny Seeto and Christine Fong for remembering us at Sr. Agnes reguregu and funeral mass. My prayers are with Sr. Agnes family, the Sisters of St. Josephs de Cluny and all ex students of St. Annes and St. Josephs.
